Its E10 stress grade gives it a stiffness comparable to MGP10 pine, so it can be used as a direct, like-for-like framing alternative — studs, plates, noggings, lintels and general wall framing — while delivering the straightness and dimensional stability that only an engineered product can. The 'H2S' designation means the timber carries a glueline termite treatment: termiticide is infused into the adhesive during manufacture, so the entire cross-section is protected against termites and borers. Because the whole section is treated, cuts, notches and drill holes do not need re-treating on site — a real time-saver. H2S is for dry, interior, above-ground use south of the Tropic of Capricorn.
